We are looking for a talented Chief Engineer to strengthen our product development team. You will be working with our amazing development team, co-working with other engineering development teams. You will join the development of our world-class Q marine infotainment displays and integrate world-class international partner products into our boating ecosystem. Our Q displays are Linux-based, and the entire system consists from powerful hardware of multicore processor systems, microcontrollers, wireless radios like WiFi, GPS/GNSS, FM/DAB, 4gLTE to software from Linux kernel, embedded to full-stack and mobile software. Our devices are designed to work in rough and demanding environments with world-leading customers. We are proud to say that we have created the most user-friendly global product for our segment, really the only one designed for external integrations and we will continue to disrupt the marine display markets. Usability, partnering, integration and ability to think out-of-the -box are some of our key targets but real-world testing the functionalities on our test boat is as important.

In Finland we are known for our white-label displays that equip Buster, Yamarin, Cross and Askeladden boats to name a few. AS A CHIEF ENGINEER ELECTRONICS DESIGNER, YOU
• Participate in the whole product development process from ideas and concepts to design implementation of a final product
• Lead electronics design team in product projects
• Have an active role in new technology scouting and selection for future products
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• A technical visionary and talented personality with ability to think out-of-the box
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, also as a lead designer for mixed competence teams
• A professional with comprehensive experience and competence in system design. Our design landscape consists of various types of devices, from small headless microcontroller devices to GUI devices running multicore CPUs
• You have relevant experience of 5+ years in complex world of electronics design
• Good communication skills, English skill required
• Customer- and solution-oriented attitude and a team player with a sense of responsibility
• Ability to share own design thoughts and review other colleagues’ designs
• Understanding of concurrent engineering principles
